Biography
Riad Sedki Riad El-Mohamedy , Prof .of fungal plant diseases , Plant Pathology Department , Agricultural and Biology Research Division , National Research Center , Dokki, Cairo , Egypt. Dr . Riad obtained his B.Sc. (plant pathology) Faculty of Agriculture, Assuit University (1984) Egypt and M.Sc.(plant pathology) Faculty of Agriculture , Ain Shamis University (1993) and Ph.D . (plant pathology) Faculty of Agriculture , Ain Shamis University (1998) Egypt .His Current research includes using fungicides alternatives such as soil amendments –biofumigations –safe chemicals –natural products - extracts and essential oils of plants –soil solarization – biological control – chemical plant resistance inducers for controlling plant pathogens in clean cultivations (organic farming). Isolation and Identification of Plant Pathogenic Fungi and Bio-control agents. Dr . Riad published more than 70 papers in international specialized journal and Professional membership in 7 scientific association committee and editorial board membership in 9 scientific international journal. He is also principle investigator of two international projects and member in 25 scientific projects .Currently involved in research projects and supervising M.Sc and Ph.D. students.
