Biography

Shashi Singh, Chief Scientist, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Hyderabad, India. India. She completed her Ph.D. in Zoology (Cell Biology) 1988. She served as Junior Research Officer (Aug1987-Aug1988)- National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi, Lecturer (Oct 1988-Nov1988) at Dept Bio Sci. and Biotech, Univ Roorki, India. She is the Life Member of Society of Cell Biology, Life Member of Society of Reproductive Biology and Comparative Endocrinology, Ordinary member of Society of Biochemist of India and Life member of Electron Microscope Society of India. She has published 61 research papers, 7 book chapters and reviewed 3 books.

Stem Cell Biology and Tissue Engineering Basic biology of Adult multipotent stem cells from different sources and iPS eneration, Differentiation of the multipotent cells into various lineages using cues from nanomaterials, modified surfaces, growth factors or natural compounds.
