Biography
Dr. Suresh Deka, presently working as Professor in the Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory of Resource Management and Environment Section of Life Sciences Division of Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati. He has published more than 40 research papers in reputed journals, 6 chapter of books and 7 proceeding of seminars. Under his supervision, 6 students got Ph. D. degree fromGauhati University. He did post doc. research on Biosurfactant in University of Ulster, UK, under the supervision of Prof. I. M. Banat. He completed several research projects funded by different central govt. agencies as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator. As PI two DBT Govt. of India funded projects are going on under his supervision
